Stake Poker has announced a Centroll 8-max qualifier with a $0.01 buy-in, opening registration August 15. The event uses eight-handed No-Limit Hold'em, three-minute blind levels, and 5,000-chip starting stacks.

Registration for the event opens on August 15, giving players an entry route to higher-value tournament tickets for a nominal entry cost.

The qualifier uses an eight-handed No-Limit Hold'em format. Stake Poker states that the event offers a $150 guaranteed prize pool through three $50 tournament tickets.

Players who do not register before the tournament starts can still enter during a 15-minute late registration period following the beginning of play.

Each player receives a starting stack of 5,000 chips upon entering the tournament. Blind levels increase rapidly, with every level lasting three minutes.

Play takes place on eight-handed tables, with the eight-player table format maintained throughout the event. Scheduled breaks are also included, occurring hourly at the 55-minute mark.

The Centroll 8-max requires at least six players to run and can accommodate up to 3,000 entrants.

Re-entries are not permitted.

Players also cannot use rebuys or add-ons at any stage of the tournament, making the initial $0.01 entry the only permitted buy-in for each participant.

The tournament will kick off on August 15 at 12:30 PM UTC and includes a minimum field requirement of six players and a maximum capacity of 3,000 entrants.
