51,224 Entries. $1.17M Prize Pool. Bounty Hunting Gone Wild in the PLO Series.
GGPoker's Ocean KO format has found another hunting ground. The new bounty format has joined the November PLO Series, and Omaha players wasted little time getting involved. The $25 PLO Ocean KO event attracted 3,160 unique players and generated an impressive 51,224 entries.
The Ocean KO action is part of a much bigger festival. GGPoker PLO Series 2026 features $20 million in guaranteed prize pools, more than 450 tournaments and a separate $200,000 leaderboard.
Ocean KO Brings Big Bounties to Omaha
The $25 PLO event produced some interesting numbers, particularly when it came to the bounty payouts.
| $25 PLO Ocean KO | Result |
|---|---|
| Unique players | 3,160 |
| Total entries | 51,224 |
| Final prize pool | $1,178,152 |
| Guarantee | $1,000,000 |
| Average entries per player | 16.2 |
The biggest bounty haul actually went to the runner-up. 44aleksei44 collected $44,531.47 in bounties, well ahead of champion Futbol is LIFE!, who earned $18,165.96.
The Brazilian player made up for the difference with the tournament victory, collecting another $36,333.02 in regular prize money.
For context, October's $5 Ocean KO Opener still holds the online tournament entry record, with 420,084 entries. The PLO event may not have reached those heights, but more than 51,000 entries is a serious turnout.
How does Ocean KO work? The format adds randomized bounty multipliers to Progressive Knockout poker. Across 14 evolution levels, multipliers can reach 400 times the base bounty under specific conditions. One knockout can therefore be worth considerably more than the usual bounty reward, which is why players are ready to swing it. Learn more by reading our Ocean KO Explained guide.
