The 57th annual World Series of Poker concluded on July 15, 2026, setting records with 251,899 entries and a $469,975,059 prize pool. The 100-bracelet series featured historic player achievements, global broadcasts, and generated over 378 million social media views.
The 57th annual World Series of Poker officially concluded its summer tournament schedule on July 15, 2026. Held at Paris Las Vegas and Horseshoe Las Vegas, the festival featured 51 days of high-stakes competition across 100 live gold bracelet events.
The tournament series highlighted the global scale of live tournament poker, drawing massive fields and expanding its digital reach to millions of fans worldwide.
Redefining the Live Experience and Global Broadcast Reach
The summer festival featured several major organizational and media milestones. The legendary $10,000 No-Limit Hold'em World Championship, widely known as the Main Event, attracted a field of 9,208 entrants to create a colossal prize pool.
The final nine players survived the field to secure their spots at the historic Main Event Final Table. These players will return to Las Vegas from August 3 to 5, 2026, to play down to a champion live on ESPN.
To elevate the presentation of its prestigious final tables, the festival unveiled a completely redesigned, state-of-the-art Final Table Arena and broadcast environment that integrates advanced lighting and large-scale digital displays.
Live coverage of the Main Event returned to ESPN alongside a new multi-year broadcast agreement with Warner Bros. Discovery, distributing coverage across HBO Max, Eurosport, and TNT Sports globally.
Comprehensive linear and digital coverage was available in more than 300 million homes across over 70 countries via media partners such as ESPN Networks, Eurosport, TNT Sports, Abema Japan, and Groupe M6 in France.
Edited broadcasts will air starting July 21, 2026. Furthermore, the WSOP Live mobile app streamlined the physical experience by handling registration, reducing cage lines, and providing real-time seat alerts.
A Summer of Historic Milestones and Superstar Performances
The 2026 series bore witness to historic achievements by several prominent poker luminaries. Daniel Negreanu captured his eighth career gold bracelet by winning Event #76, the $100,000 High Roller Pot-Limit Omaha, earning a top prize of over $2.2 million.
Reigning Main Event champion Michael "The Grinder" Mizrachi secured his ninth career bracelet and a $1.35 million prize by winning Event #70, the $10,000 Pot-Limit Omaha Championship.
Additionally, the husband and wife duo of Alex and Kristen Foxen made history by each winning a bracelet. Alex Foxen took down Event #19, the $25,000 High Roller No-Limit Hold'em, while Kristen Foxen won Event #44, the $10,000 Super Turbo Bounty No-Limit Hold'em.
Statistically, the festival set multiple all-time records, generating a total gold events prize pool of $469,975,059 across 251,899 total entries, with 35,157 places paid. A total of 41 prizes of $1 million or more were awarded.
While 57 events exceeded prize pools of $2 million to equal the record set last year, eight events surpassed the $10 million threshold.
Record-Breaking Figures and Superstar Champions
Specific events also set individual attendance milestones. Event #63, the $1,000 Mystery Millions No-Limit Hold'em, drew 22,811 entries, making it the largest field of the 2026 series, the largest Mystery Millions event, and the largest $1,000 event in live poker history.
Event #68, the $1,000 Ladies No-Limit Hold'em Championship, attracted 1,368 entries to become the largest Ladies event in history.

The tournament field represented a diverse global player base, with participants hailing from 149 different countries.
The top ten nations by participant volume were the United States, Canada, France, Great Britain, Japan, China, Israel, Germany, Brazil, and Mexico.
The Main Event itself set a new record by featuring players from 111 distinct countries. The demographic span was highlighted by the oldest participant, Merle Vangieson, who was born June 28, 1931, and the youngest participant, Easton Jorgensen, born July 13, 2005.
