The inaugural WSOP Circuit Malta takes place at Casino Malta from September 25 to October 5, featuring 12 ring events. GGPoker hosts exclusive qualifiers starting August 10, with all ring champions earning a $5,000 WSOP Paradise 2026 package.

The World Series of Poker Circuit is officially heading to Malta for the first time in the tournament's history.

Running from September 25 through October 5, 2026, the inaugural WSOP Circuit Malta festival will take place at Casino Malta in St. Julian's, bringing 11 days of high-stakes poker action to the Mediterranean destination.

Online poker operator GGPoker will serve as the exclusive provider of online qualifiers for the event. Starting August 10, 2026, players can participate in satellite tournaments on the platform, offering low-cost and direct pathways to secure seats for the live series.

Online Qualification Pathways on GGPoker

GGPoker has structured its online satellite framework to accommodate players across all bankrolls. The qualification tree begins on August 10 with free freeroll qualifiers, alongside real-money step satellite tournaments featuring buy-ins starting at €5.

These step events feed into weekly €150 WSOP Malta Super Satellites. Winners of the Super Satellites earn direct entry into the centerpiece of the schedule, the €1,500 WSOP Circuit Malta Main Event, which runs from September 30 to October 4.

The 11-day festival at Casino Malta will present 12 official WSOP Circuit gold ring events. Beyond the primary ring competitions, the schedule includes an assortment of side events and continuous cash games.

Situated along the Mediterranean coastline, Casino Malta has built a reputation as a major venue for continental live poker tournaments.

The event is expected to attract competitors from across Europe who are seeking competitive poker alongside Malta's coastal scenery, cultural attractions, and nightlife.

Ring Champions Secure $5,000 WSOP Paradise Packages

In addition to earning a WSOP Circuit gold ring and the largest portion of the event prize pool, each of the 12 official ring event winners in Malta will receive an added reward.

Every ring champion will be awarded a $5,000 WSOP Paradise 2026 package. The package covers tournament buy-in fees and hotel accommodations, providing each winner with direct entry into WSOP Paradise later in the year.
