The World Series of Poker (WSOP) has officially concluded WSOP Paradise 2025, a record-setting festival that saw $201,838,070 in total prize money awarded, cementing the series as the largest poker event ever held outside of Las Vegas.

The unprecedented success in the Bahamas serves as the crowning achievement of a banner 2025 for the WSOP brand, following a record-breaking summer campaign in Las Vegas.

The festival’s centerpiece, the $25,000 Super Main Event, generated a staggering prize pool exceeding $70 million. This figure establishes it as the eighth-largest tournament in poker history and the single biggest event ever hosted outside of the WSOP’s home in Las Vegas.

Bernhard Binder from Austria, emerged victorious in the Super Main Event, claiming the championship bracelet and a $10 Million first-place prize - a sum equal to the prize awarded at the 2025 WSOP Main Event in Las Vegas, the game’s most prestigious tournament.

The 27-year-old defeated French veteran Jean-Noel Thorel heads-up to top a field that drew the world's elite players to Atlantis Paradise Island.

WSOP Paradise 2025 was designed to bring the prestige and scale of the summer World Series to the winter calendar, creating a true year-round global championship. With 8,015 total entries and 15 WSOP gold bracelets awarded, the series delivered on that promise. Highlights of the festival included six separate bracelet events generating prize pools of $10 million or more.

"The goal of WSOP Paradise is to create a winter festival that ultimately rivals our summer series in Las Vegas," said Ty Stewart, Chief Executive Officer of WSOP.

"Seeing a singular tournament eclipse $70 million with a second $10 million prize and non-stop action across all tournaments shows we’re well on our way to that ambitious goal becoming reality. WSOP Paradise is already the second biggest festival on the planet, and we’re just getting started. Thank you to everyone in the poker community who has decided to make this their new end of year tradition."

The conclusion of WSOP Paradise marks the end of the 2025 poker calendar. The World Series of Poker will return in 2026 with Prague hosting WSOP Europe in March and the iconic Las Vegas Strip welcoming the 57th annual WSOP summer event.
