As a cornerstone of Chile’s "golden generation," he secured back-to-back Copa América titles in 2015 and 2016. With over 140 caps for his national team and a current starring role at Colo-Colo, Vidal remains a powerful figure in the sporting world.

Vidal is far from a novice in the poker world. His interest in the game has been documented for years, most notably during a high-stakes appearance at a European Poker Tour (EPT) event in 2019.

Competing alongside former teammate Gerard Piqué in a €25,000 buy-in tournament, Vidal proved his skills by securing a fifth-place finish.

Piqué finished as the runner-up, and together the pair walked away with nearly half a million euros in prize money.
