GGPoker’s new partnership with Great Canadian Casino means it is the only land-based venue in Ontario offering WSOP-branded events.

The hotel and resort will host official WSOP ring events throughout 2025, with dates to be announced later this year.

The collaboration follows Toronto’s first WSOP circuit event at Great Canadian Casino. In March 2024, over 6,000 players entered the competition over 11 days.

GGPoker’s sponsorship of the official Poker Room will also upgrade the playing experience with high-definition TVs, high-speed Wi-Fi and a players’ longue. VIP Great Canadian Rewards members can also access additional bonuses.

Sarne Lightman, managing director of GGPoker shared her delight about the new collaboration, which will bring new playing experiences to Toronto players.

“We are excited to partner with Great Canadian to elevate the poker experience in Toronto. This partnership will combine the best of live and online poker, offering players premier tournaments, unmatched rewards and solidifying Ontario as a hub for world-class poker.”
