Marius Kudzmanas Wins 2026 WSOP Europe Main Event for €2 Million
- Marius Kudzmanas wins the WSOP Europe Main Event for €2M, amidst a 2,617-entry field.
- The festival, featuring 15,779 entries and €39.5M in prizes, breaks European attendance records.
- Anna Eggenberger triumphs in the biggest-ever Ladies Championship outside Las Vegas.
There is a new WSOP Europe Main Event champion, and this year’s title went to Marius Kudzmanas. The Lithuanian player won the tournament for €2,000,000, adding a major live title to a résumé that already included two WSOP Online bracelets.
The result matters on its own, but it also lands in the middle of a record-setting festival. Kudzmanas came through a 2,617-entry Main Event field, the biggest open-field poker tournament ever held in Europe, and did it under the kind of pressure that tends to sort the field out quickly.
A Main Event That Broke New Ground
The 2026 edition of WSOP Europe put up numbers that were hard to ignore. Across 15 bracelet events, the festival drew 15,779 entries and produced €39,500,000 in total prize money.
The Main Event was the headline tournament and easily the biggest of the lot. Its 2,617 entries created a prize pool of €13,085,000, making it the largest open poker event ever staged on European soil.
Anna Eggenberger Wins Landmark Ladies Championship
The festival also produced a notable result in the €1,000 Ladies Championship, where Switzerland’s Anna Eggenberger won her first gold bracelet.
She outlasted a field of 197 entries, and in doing so won the largest Ladies Championship ever held outside Las Vegas. It was one of the more significant side stories of the series, not least because it showed the broader scale of the turnout across the schedule.

WSOP Reacts to Record Turnout
The enthusiasm and incredible turnout, particularly for the record-breaking €5,300 Main Event, has been unprecedented, said Ty Stewart, CEO of the WSOP.
Congratulations to Marius Kudzmanas for etching his name into the history books.
With the European portion of the schedule now complete, attention shifts back to Las Vegas. The 2026 summer WSOP is set to begin on May 26 and run through July 15.
How Players Can Still Qualify for the Summer WSOP
For players hoping to make the trip to Las Vegas this summer, several qualification routes are still available:
- International players: Qualify for the $10,000 No Limit Hold'em Main Event through GGPoker’s WSOP Express.
- US-based players: Satellites are currently running on wsoponline.com.
- Registration: Players can also book their seats through the WSOP Live app.
WSOP Europe is done for another year, but it leaves behind a pretty clear marker. The festival set new records, the Main Event drew the biggest open field Europe has seen, and Kudzmanas walked away with the title everyone came for.
