2025 WPT World Championship Festival Schedule Released
- World Poker Tour and Wynn Las Vegas unveil details for the 2025 WPT World Championship
- Festival scheduled to run December 2-22, 2025
- 78 tournaments and satellites to run over three weeks
The World Poker Tour and Wynn Las Vegas have unveiled the full schedule for the highly anticipated 2025 WPT World Championship, running December 2 to 22, 2025.
The festival features 78 tournaments and satellites packed into three weeks, offering a significant increase in variety and buy-in levels from previous years – with something for each player at one of poker’s premier destinations: Wynn Las Vegas.
The festival will feature buy-ins ranging from $600 up to $25,800 high rollers, ensuring players at all levels find great value without leaving the Wynn.
Across the schedule, players will find more than two dozen satellites, starting at $200, and providing players an opportunity to earn a seat to some of the biggest events of the year.
New Additions to the 2025 WPT World Championship Festival include:
- $1,600 PLO Mystery Bounty (December 7 to 8)
- $1,600 NLH $1 Million GTD (December 12 to 13), featuring a single starting day
- $1,100 NLH $2 Million GTD (December 16 to 19)
- Almost a dozen PLO and 5-Card PLO Tournaments
The festival comes with an expanded mixed games line-up, including multiple HORSE, TORSE and Omaha 8 events, plus Big O, OE, Mixed Triple Draw and 2-7 Mixed Limits.
Some of the festival's most popular events will return including a number of large prize pool NLH tournaments. These include:
- $800 buy-in, $1 Million GTD Opening Event (December 2 to 6)
- $1,600 buy-in, $1 Million GTD (December 5 to 7)
- $1,600 buy-in, $1 Million GTD (December 20 to 22)
- $3,000 buy-in, $3 Million GTD (December 18 to 20)
High Rollers are catered for with two $25,800 buy-in NLH tournaments on December 17 to 18, and December 18 to 19.
Several fan favourite tournaments will make their return to the festival schedule.
The Ladies Championship is set for December 13 to 14., featuring a $1,100 buy-in and guaranteed prize pool of $250,000.
The schedule also includes dedicated Seniors events, beginning with the $1,100 Seniors Championship running December 18 to 20, followed by the Seniors High Roller, a $10,000 buy-in event taking place December 20 to 22.
The festival schedule is headlined by its two marquee events. The first is the WPT World Championship – a $10,400 buy-in event running December 13-19, 2025 with a delayed televised final table taking place December 21.
The second is the $5 million guaranteed WPT Prime Championship, which features a $1,100 buy-in from December 7 to 12 that also has a delayed televised final table on December 20.
